Advantage Business Media Promotes Freeburg to CFO

Rockaway, NJ – November 23, 2008 – Advantage Business Media has promoted Theresa Freeburg to the position of Chief Financial Officer for the publisher. Freeburg has served as vice president of finance and as treasurer for Advantage Business Media since July 2007, overseeing day-to-day financial operations including accounting, payroll, financial analysis, cash management, internal audits and budgeting.

"Terry has done a tremendous job in overseeing all aspects of finance, accounting and credit and collections for our organization," said ABM chief executive officer Rich Reiff. "In addition, she has proven herself to be a valuable partner in strategic planning, forward thinking and in forecasting the financial trends of Advantage Business Media."

Prior to joining ABM, Freeburg had considerable experience in media financial management, having served nearly 20 years with Northstar Travel Media, LLC. She began her career in publishing in 1984 as an accountant with Murdoch Magazines' travel and aviation groups.

In 1989, Freeburg followed the sale of Murdoch's travel group to Reed Elsevier, where she held a series of financial management positions before being named Director of Financial Planning and Analysis in 1998. She was quickly promoted to Director of Financial Operations in 1999.

With Reed Elsevier's sale of the travel group to Northstar Travel Media in 2001, she was promoted to VP of Finance for Northstar. Freeburg joined ABM as Finance Director for the Technology and Manufacturing Groups in 2003, while ABM was still the Reed New Product division. A native of Staten Island, New York, Freeburg received her BS in accounting from the College of Staten Island. She enjoys photography, scrap booking and volunteer work, and resides in New Jersey with her husband Thomas.
