Product Design & Development Associate Editor Chris Fox recently interviewed John Vickers, the head of advanced manufacturing at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, as well as three other 3D printing professionals, during the inaugural broadcast of Engineering Live. The premiere was presented “live” on the PD&D Channel.
Engineering Live is a 30-minute roundtable; a live broadcast series that functions similar to a webinar. Focusing on specific, hot-button industry topics, each show features a panel of three to five experts in the given niche of the engineering community. View the preview trailer for the 3D Printing roundtable here.
Because of the live nature of the event, the broadcast boasts live dialogue with viewers who contribute questions and comments via Twitter. Readers submit questions to @PDandD as Product Design & Development and the panel of experts seek answers to tough questions from the engineering community.
In addition to NASA’s Vickers, the premiere panel also featured:
• Ken Lachenberg, Manager of Application Engineering with Sciaky
• Mike Littrell, Founder and President of C.Ideas
• Bruce Bradshaw, Director of Marketing, Stratasys
